The recipe for this gin is said to be over 200 years old. However, it was not until 1998 that Martin and Andy Dawson launched Brokers Gin onto the market. With this London Dry Gin, they wanted to offer a high-quality spirit that can be enjoyed anywhere in the world and conveys the typical flair of the city of London. It is therefore hardly surprising that the design of the bottle is ‘very British’. In addition to the elegantly designed bottle label, the hat, the bowler hat, is particularly eye-catching. A true gentleman. Of course, he doesn't skimp on the production of the gin either. The gin is produced in small batches in traditional pot stills. As a result, this premium gin has already won the most prestigious awards. Lift off!
Incidentally, the designation ‘London Dry Gin’ does not mean that the gin is produced in London. It merely indicates the type of gin. Broker's, for example, distils its gin near Birmingham.
Classic notes of juniper and lemon are perceptible on the nose. Surrounded by spicy flavours of coriander and cinnamon. On the palate, the resinous nuances of juniper with hints of liquorice create a pleasant sweetish note. A certain spiciness from the coriander seeds and the light freshness of the orange peel round off the flavour. The finish is surprisingly slightly spicy, accompanied by citrus notes. The earthy flavours of angelica root become more prominent. The finish is spicy overall, slightly earthy and long-lasting. Broker's Gin scores with classic gin flavours and can be enjoyed neat. It also cuts a fine figure in classic cocktails such as gin and tonic, martini or gin fizz.
